SI Analytics Founder and CEO, Taegyun Jeon, announced launch of a new initiative program to develop a North Korea Dynamic BMOA (Ballistic Missile Operation Area) Search Project that uses EO data from multiple satellite operators.

SI Analytics proposed new global risk monitoring through its private sector anomaly detection program. Leveraging commercial EO satellites and advanced GeoAI analysis, the initiative detects anomalies in near real-time, offering valuable insights, geological outliers.

Initially focused on mobile North Korean ballistic missile operations, the program aims to expand its coverage globally. Complementing existing government and defense initiatives, it enhances risk management and mitigates tensions.

With reliance on existing satellite providers, SI Analytics generates comprehensive insights for market presentation. By fostering stability and security, this program contributes to a safer world in collaboration with public sectors.

Monitoring Process for North Korea’s Mobile Ballistic Missile Activities:

  1. Wide-area scan using periodic North Korea PlanetScope basemap (3.2m GSD, 120,540 km2) by SIA.
  2. Enhance Basemap Resolution with SuperX to apply AI-powered algorithms identify relevant objects/areas of interest.
  3. Change detection analysis identifies areas with changes.
  4. Results assessed by expert analysts and advisors for relevance.
  5. Very High-Resolution (0.3 GSD) imagery acquired for identified areas of change.
  6. Final comprehensive evaluation determines further monitoring or dismissal.
  7. Thorough assessment and efficient allocation of resources.
