OmniEarth is focusing more on water resource management reveals, Lard Dyrud, CEO of OmniEarth

In an exclusive interview with GeoBuiz, Lars Dyrud, CEO of OmniEarth revels focus areas of the company. OmniEarth delivers complete solution to water agencies and other business who want to use water more efficiently. We bring in weather data, water meter data and water usage data in the district that we cover. For 2016, our big expansion will be our OmniParcels Database,  an extension of what we have been doing in water. We are adding attributes that are relevant to number of industries from insurance to advertising technology. OmniEarth is creating dataset for long list of customers. By the end of this year we will cover whole United Sataes. Right now we cover California, Arizona and much of Washington DC area. OmniEarth is expanding as per its coustomer’s need. OmniEarth delivers solutions which is both data and analytics associated with it. Everything we do is cloud based and our solutions are delivered via web so our customers get information by just simple log in. Our partners access datasets and information by pulling that directly from our API. Two Years back OmniEarth announced constellation of small satellites to cover earth everywhere and everyday between 2-5 meter resolutions. To take this move further we created two divisions, sideline services division and analytics division. We spent last years on and working with major potential customers and getting letters of intent for subscription on the system. We are working with vendors to design a continues drive down costs and timelines, associated with this small sat business.We need less than two years for the system to get it on orbit. Small satellite industry is rapidly growing industry.In next 10 years from now there will be more than 100 companies offering the need of different types of customers through small satellites. Earth observation associated with big data analytics is emerging into much larger and faster growing industries where all growth is being driven.Satellite and aerial imagery is a brand new to this industry which will continue to accelerate the growth
