NASA is considering of sending a robotic service mission in space.
The objective is to create affordable technology which will help US space industry in becoming a leader of satellite servicing in the space.
If succeeds, the mission can change the experimental status of present technology to something which is utilized regularly and commercially available.
And therefore, SSCO is developing Restore-L; a planned mission of robotic spacecraft which will help in refueling other satellites in space.
Restore-L spacecraft will be equipped with autonomous navigation system and avionics which will be used during flight and rendezvous.
