Thousands of people flee to refugee camps every year due to humanitarian crisis. Ensuring that displaced remain safe and healthy relies on well planned satellite data. Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan is located in some 3km area. Located just 10km from the border with Syria, the camp is currently home to 100,000 people displaced by the conflict. High resolution imagery can be used to monitor these camps. Copernicus satellite based services provide timely and accurate geospatial information to support the management of humanitarian crisis.
