Google Maps transit feature extended to seven more Indian cities

Google India expanded the transit feature on Google Maps to 7 more Indian cities.

The newly added cities are Chandigarh, Lucknow, Vadodara, Indore, Mysore, Surat and Coimbatore.

With the update, the transit feature is now available in 16 Indian cities.

The feature is designed to help a user to plan a commute with just few taps.

With the transit feature, Google will show bus routes and stops including details such as departure, arrival and names of bus stands.

Google Transit is available on Google Maps for Android and iOS as well as on browser.
