Indian state Telangana launches open data policy

Telangana launched its open data policy. Telangana is the second state to launch open data policy. Sikkim is the first Indian state to launch open data policy K. T. Rama Rao, Minister of IT, industries, MA&UD, NRI made this announcement while attending the ICT4D conference. Speaking in the conference,  Rao also lined out the digital vision of Telangana. The state extensively uses geospatial technology for mapping natural resources and works closely with ISRO.
