California, USA, 26 June 2007: WindSpring announced an OEM relationship with Increment-P Corporation (iPC), an application software developer in the digital mapping and navigation in the Japanese market. WindSpring’s data miniaturization technology (DMT) has been integrated by iPC for DrivTrax P5 personal navigation devices (PND) manufactured by Clarion and Mio DigiWalker C323 PNDs manufactured by Mitac Japan.

WindSpring’s technology will improve digital mapping application capabilities and enable iPC to maximize performance and functionality for their PND customers. Key benefits include reducing the overall size of the digital mapping data, improving data performance, and reducing storage costs with edit, seek, search and display capabilities while retaining complete map and application functionality.
