Graz, Austria: Vexcel Imaging GmBH, a Microsoft company, received an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from the certification body SystemCERT. The Certificate certifies that Vexcel Imaging has implemented and maintained a quality management system which fulfils the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008 and has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement of its processes.
Alexander Wiechert, Microsoft Business Director of Vexcel Imaging GmbH, said, “We feel that this distinction communicates to our customers how important high quality is to us.”
Certification for 9001:2008 standards is granted only after a thorough audit of a company’s management system by an independent external body, such as SystemCERT. Industry-experienced auditors verify that processes conform to the requirements specified by the International Organization for Standards (ISO), based in Geneva, Switzerland. The standards are intended to enhance an organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency in achieving its defined objectives, as well as improve customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.
