Varion Systems to implement cityworks for the City Of Lake Forest

Varion Systems, the software development and value-added reseller division of GeoAnalytics, Inc, has been hired by The City of Lake Forest, Illinois to implement Azteca Systems’ Cityworks software throughout the City. Varion Systems will provide geodatabase design services and Cityworks implementation services as well as Cityworks training. This implementation will provide the City with tools to perform asset and work order management within their Streets, Water and Sewer, and Forestry Sections of Public Works and the Parks Section of the Parks and Recreation Department. The City will leverage ESRI’s 8.3 technology including ArcGIS and ArcSDE in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server 2000.

Cityworks contains a detailed asset inventory for sewer, water, stormwater, streets, signs, traffic, and parks. It also supports the ability to create service requests and work orders, inspections, tests, work tasks, and resource (labor, material, equipment) tracking.
