USDA Forest Service Speeds Delivery of Imagery with ArcGIS Image Server

Redlands, USA, June 11, 2007: ESRI announced that the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Forest Service Remote Sensing Applications Center (RSAC) in Salt Lake City, Utah, is now using ArcGIS Image Server to quickly deliver vast amounts of imagery throughout its organization via an intranet.

Benefits of the ArcGIS Image Server implementation include:

  • Improved data sharing and collaborative planning with other agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management
