Virginia, USA, 29 May 2007: Timmons Group announced that it was recently awarded GIS contract by Fairfax County, Virginia, for the development of GIS applications using the ESRI suite.

Fairfax County is contracting specifically for technical support for the development of GIS applications using the ESRI suite of application and development tools and the county standard programming tools (e.g. VB.NET, ASP.NET) for the support of spatial analysis being conducted by many County agencies. This may include the development of desktop and web-based GIS applications.

Timmons Group was one of five firms to be awarded a GIS contract in Fairfax county.
