US city selects GTG to update implementation plan

California, USA, 18 May 2007: Geographic Technologies Group(GTG) announced on May 18, that the City of West Sacramento, California has retained GTG to perform a software analysis and an update to the City’s GIS Implementation Plan, that GTG prepared for the City in 2004.

Curt Hinton, CEO and Co-Owner of GTG, stated, “GTG and the City of West Sacramento has worked together for the past few years to insure the logical and timely implementation of key technologies. Initially, we performed a GIS Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan which has become the bedrock for an extremely successful GIS. This project promises to be exciting and will insure that West Sacramento will continue to lead the way in regards to technology.”
