UK: A UK-based technology company Texo Drone Survey & Inspection will premier a number of safe, unique and innovative asset survey & inspection applications for the oil and gas industry at the Offshore Europe conference and exhibition in Aberdeen next week.
Texo Drone Survey & Inspection owns and operates the world’s most comprehensive and dynamic fleet of UAVs. In fact, it is the first company in the world to deploy a survey-grade LiDAR system on a custom-built UAV, said a senior official.
“Our technology has been designed to meet the needs of the evolving global energy sector,” remarked John Wood, chief operating officer, Texo Drone Survey & Inspection (UKCS).
“It enables us to offer industry-leading survey and inspection solutions for accuracy, safety and efficiency, which help deliver real and tangible business and operational benefits for our clients,” he added.
The company’s offshore division, Texo DSI (UKCS) will showcase its fleet of UAVs, incorporating the most advanced survey and inspection technology on the market, at the Aberdeen event, which runs from September 5-8.
Texo Drone currently supports a number of industry sectors, including telecoms, construction, renewables and nuclear, stated Wood.
But it is now moving into offshore oil and gas, where it believes it can deliver a range of world-leading services to help clients operate in a more safe and efficient working environment as well as being more cost and time efficient, he added.
