u-blox delivers its 2,000,000th GPS receiver

u-blox America, Inc. delivered its 2,000,000th GPS receiver, based on its ANTARISĀ® technology, to @Road, Inc., a global provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and intelligent field service automation solutions. Nikolaos Papadopoulos, president of u-blox America, delivered the GPS receiver personally to Leo Jolicoeur, @Road chief marketing officer, during a special ceremony held yesterday during CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2005 in San Francisco.

@Road uses u-blox GPS receivers in their @Road iLM (Internet Location Manager) Field Force Management solution, which obtains and transmits location information over wireless networks via the @Road location
service centers to the @Road subscriber, in the form of reports and maps showing mobile resource location and other relevant remote data, on demand. In addition to Field Force Management, @Road offers a family of MRM solutions including Field Service Management and Asset Management offered in on-demand software delivery, on-premise and hybrid environments.
