Trimble selects NAVTEQ for its mapping and GIS division

Chicago, US: NAVTEQ announced that Trimble’s Mapping & GIS division has become a reseller of NAVTEQ map data. Trimble’s Mapping & GIS division enables a wide range of industries to improve productivity by transforming their field workforce processes with the use of Trimble’s integrated field solutions that provide high accuracy, ease of use and field ruggedness, said the company.

NAVTEQ map data will enable Trimble to provide complete hardware, software, and data solutions to enterprise customers in key business areas including utilities, state and  local government, and environmental. With NAVTEQ map data, Trimble brings a broad spectrum of solutions to its customers through delivery of the freshest, highest quality map data that is crucial for reliable applications.

“Trimble and NAVTEQ have worked together for several years and have developed a strong global relationship,” said Robert Laudati, Marketing Director for Trimble’s Mapping & GIS division. Laudati added that NAVTEQ map data will strengthen Trimble’s vertical market offerings to enterprise field solutions that leverage Trimble hardware and software.
