September 10, 2002 – The number of location-centric queries on the servers of Maporama, has doubled since the beginning of the year 2002.

Location-centric queries are generated by applications integrated within Intranet, Extranet, or Internet sites of Maporama’s customers. This indicator, arriving at 10 geocentric queries per second by the end of 2001, has doubled during the first eight months of 2002 and illustrates Maporama’s extraordinary business growth.

Maporama recently put in place Maporama Centralized Architecture (MCA) which, in addition to direct customer benefits, allows Maporama to handle customer integration more rapidly as well as deal with the fast traffic increase on its location-centric servers.
