TopoSys will present the latest results of high precision airborne Lidar scanning at the ISPRS Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, to be held on July 19-23. Due to a new measurement principle, which is based on a huge number of overlapping measurements instead of only a few individual measurements, a new category of data quality can be obtained. This opens a lot of new applications to be served by airborne Lidar scanning such as break line extraction for hydraulic simulations, says the company’s release.
Falcon II will also be presented at the event. Falcon II is the only fiber based airborne Lidar sensor system, which supports the new measurement principle of precise Lidar scanning and which acquires high precision elevation data and RGB/CIR true ortho-images at the same time.
