Texas, USA, 18 April 2007: Geographic Technologies Group announced that the City of Waco, Texas has procured LGviewer, LGweb, LGaddress, and LGviewer work order module from GTG’s LG GIS software suite. These applications will serve to expand the City’s software platform and enhance the City’s services to its citizens.
LGviewer developed by GTG will provide GIS solutions through simple applications. LGviewer allows for visualization of land management information such as utility meters, occupational licenses, work orders, building permits and code enforcement violations. Local government professionals will get ability to map and analyze the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked within their enterprise IT systems.
LGviewer is designed to enable GIS corporate databases in tandem with existing GIS data to provide a powerful set of tools for visualization and analysis. LGweb is an Intranet GIS data browser that integrates with the City’s HTE platform. As an HTE business partner, GTG provides several products that provide a GIS interface for many of HTE’s land and public safety modules. The City’s implementation of LGweb will extend and enhance the City’s GIS, enabling the City to leverage existing technology investments for use as a unifying technology.
LGaddress allows users to maintain address points, pass valuable GIS data to their land database, and ensures a 100% match rate of the land database modules via an intuitive ArcEngine based GIS application.
