The City of Columbia, Missouri selects GTG to implement GIS application

Texas, USA, 29 May 2007: Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) has announced that the City of Columbia, Missouri has procured LGViewer from GTG’s LG GIS software suite to develop an application for the city’s implementation projects.

Under the contract GTG will develop an application using LGviewer to allow users visualiseland management information. It will provide the local government professionals the ability to map and analyse the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked within their data storage. GTG has said that LGviewer software will provide the means to leverage data along with a set of tools for visualization and analysis.

LGviewer will provide a set of GIS tools which include:

  • Direct relates to SunGard HTE LM/LX database
  • Customizable queries and map tips
  • Multiple map interfaces
  • Smart intersection finder
  • Centralized administration and control
  • Multiple ortho image layer support
  • Select features spatially or by a stored query

    With these tools LG viewer allows for visualization of HTE land management information. Local government professionals will get ability to map and analyse the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked in HTE. The SunGard HTE Land Management module allows users to assign locations to each land management record. The LGviewer software is designed to leverage SunGard HTE data along with existing GIS databases to provide a powerful set of tools for visualization and analysis.
