Thai research centre selects SuperGIS Desktop 3

Taiwan: SuperGeo Technologies, announced that Mitr Phol Sugarcane Research Centre in Thailand selected SuperGIS Desktop 3, a desktop GIS product. The centre aims to improve the efficiency of sugarcane management and production through SuperGeo product.
Mitr Phol Sugarcane Research Centre belongs to Mitr Phol Group possessing several large sugar mills in Thailand. At first, it evaluated SuperGIS Desktop 3 which enabled effective processing in geographic data. Hence, the centre decided to procure this set of GIS software for mapping and monitoring sugarcane farms.
In addition, the company announced that SuperGIS Desktop 3.1, the latest desktop GIS software, is going to be released very soon. The new product is based on the brand new SuperGIS Engine 3. 
According to the company’s press statement it has two versions, Professional version and Standard version. Besides covering the functions of Standard version, Professional version also supports topology analysis, enforces geodatabase management, and provides VBA customisation. Topology analysis supports to generate topological relationship for spatial dada that can be applied to further spatial analysis. In geodatabase management, it supports to read and edit the vector data in database. And it also supports to add and edit the vector data in the database which is used by multi-users. Moreover, the built-in VBA customisation tools allow users to develop the GIS tools by themselves to build their own GIS platforms.
