New Jersey, USA, 5 September 2006: Telmap Inc. announced on September 5 that it has appointed David Singer to serve as Vice President and General Manager, a new position created to support growing market traction for the company’s navigation and location-based services for mobile phones and other wireless devices. Singer has over 25 years of senior-level experience with telecommunications and information technology companies including McCaw Cellular/AT&T Wireless Services, Microsoft & Qwest Communications.

As the senior U.S.-based Telmap executive, Singer will oversee sales, marketing, operations, customer support and all other business functions in the U.S., Canada and South America, including an immediate staff expansion being undertaken in conjunction with the relocation of Telmap’s U.S. offices from Chicago to the New York area.
