Synergetics awarded DLA contract to provide Cloud services

US: Synergetics, a leading provider of custom software solutions, announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to modernize and migrate some of its legacy cataloging and data solutions systems to the Cloud. This contract will license Synergetics’ OpenFLIS Platform as a Service (PaaS) coupled with DLA-owned applications delivered via a Cloud architecture.

OpenFLIS is a software platform that allows legacy applications to be modernized and deployed in a Federal and Defense approved cloud (FedRAMP) at a fraction of the cost and in less time than conventional approaches.

Synergetics has continuously excelled in delivering critical custom software and Big Data solutions to Federal Agencies, the Department of Defense (DoD), and commercial clients for 23 years. “Synergetics is excited to continue our 10-year partnership with DLA and deliver our services in a highly capable, secure, and cost-effective platform to meet information dissemination needs and the DLA mission overall,” said Synergetics CEO, Mr. Rajiv Mehta.
