SuperGeo spreads awareness about GIS

Taiwan: SuperGeo Technologies acquainted participants with GIS development and applications in Taiwan. The company was interacting with enthusiast during a seminar, Geographic Information System and Land Management. This seminar was organised by International Center for Land Policy Studies and Training (ICLPST), Taiwan.

According to the company’s press statement, ICLPST invited it to outline the current research and development of SuperGIS software. During the conference, participants got a further understanding of self-developed GIS software in Taiwan.

The seminar was authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan. The participants consisted of representatives from more than 20 nations around Europe, Americas, Asia, and Africa.

Meanwhile, the company also announced that it is going to exhibit at ‘Map Malaysia 2011’ in Sabah, Malaysia, and ‘Map Middle East 2011’ in Doha, State of Qatar; both will be held in April 2011.

With the theme “Empowering Nation through Geospatial”, Map Malaysia 2011 will be jointly organised by “GIS Development” and “Lands and Surveys Department Sabah.” The event will take place during April 5-6 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. On the other hand, featuring “Regional Spatial Data Infrastructure and Capacity Building”, Map Middle East 2011 will be co-organised by the Centre for GIS, the Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning – State of Qatar. The event will be held in Doha during April 17-19, 2011.
