SuperGeo releases SuperGIS Server 3 Value Edition

Taiwan: SuperGeo Technologies globally released SuperGIS Server 3 Value Edition, a server-based software. It assists enterprises in building, managing, integrating and publishing multiple GIS services in the centralised server framework. Various types of spatial data, images and GIS functions can be applied to desktop, mobile and Web applications as GIS services through the Internet. Consequently, the ideal workflow of enterprises can be created and the productivity and decision making ability can be significantly improved as well.
Some of the features in SuperGIS Server 3 Value Edition include enhancing the published service styles, supporting online editing, creating high-efficient caching and improving geodatabase performance. Also, SuperGIS Server 3 allows customising multiple client and webpage side applications.
The front-end applications supported by SuperGIS Server 3 include the mobile software-SuperPad and desktop software-SuperGIS Desktop which are developed by SuperGeo Technologies, and multiple commonly-used web browsers (e.g. IE) are included as well. In addition, in order to serve more users, SuperGIS Server Client for ArcMap is provided; with the tool, users who use ArcMap can directly read the map services published by SuperGIS Server.
Meanwhile, the company announced that Rancang Bistari, a town planning and geospatial consultant in Malaysia, selected SuperPad 3, a full-function mobile GIS software.
