Taiwan: SuperGeo Technologies announced its latest product – Mobile Cadastral GIS 3.0, to assist in field survey and cadastral navigation measurement. According to the company press statement, since being first released in November 2010, Mobile Cadastral GIS has been utilised extensively. In view of a large quantity of positive feedback and valuable suggestions, SuperGeo team redesigned this system with many improvements, including interface design, map display, manipulation procedure, and query speed. Accordingly, the brand-new Mobile Cadastral GIS 3.0 appears.
Mobile Cadastral GIS, based on SuperGIS Mobile Engine, is particularly designed for field survey and cadastral navigation measurement. The system can be applied in related mobile devices that equipped with Windows Mobile operating platform, performing merits like swiftness and convenience.
Integrated with GIS and GPS technology resources, Mobile Cadastral GIS helps field surveyors quickly recognise their locations and obtain correct information of cadastral navigation.
In addition, the company also announced its latest partner in Nepal, SeaGate Institute of Technology. The new partner is based in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It is known for Information Technology services and training. The services are involved with GIS and relevant software, remote sensing, land development and multimedia, etc.
This year, the International Conference on ICT (Information Communication Technology) for Development and Education will be held by SeaGate Institute of Technology in Kathmandu.
