Subsurface utility mapping company collaborates with university

Malaysia: Subsurface utility mapping company Axis Circle Sdn. Bhd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, Vietnam (HUMG) to develop and implement mutually beneficial and agreed upon activities.

According to the terms of the agreement, Axis Circle will support HUMG in providing services for underground utility detection and mapping in Vietnam. HUMG and Axis Circle have come to an agreement to work hand in hand in providing the expertise and solutions especially in Vietnam. This collaboration is valid for five years and shall be extended based on the market’s condition and requirement.

Speaking on the occasion, Ananda Rao Appamah, Managing Director, Axis Circle Sdn. Bhd. said, “This is the first collaboration in Vietnam where a Malaysian private company and academia are teaming up to provide their services jointly based on their expertise especially in subsurface utility mapping.”

Cooperation could also be expanded to the possible projects in other countries outside Vietnam as well.
