St. Joseph County gets GPS station

3 April 2006: St. Joseph County, Centreville, US now has a state-of-the-art GPS reference station that will be instrumental in many areas including the Remonumentation Program. The Michigan Spatial Reference Network (MSRN) Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) provide centimeter real-time position for all of the county, city, township, and state agencies that require geo-positing. The program is aimed at providing a digital correct 3-D map of the county, which is easily updateable as development.
