Clearwater, Fla., USA, 01-14-09 –Spatial Networks, a privately held Clearwater-based global technology firm delivering proprietary geospatial applications across the world, announced that it has completed the acquisition of Tampa-based TrekServ, LLC , a privately held global tracking technology firm. The two companies have enjoyed a strategic partnership over the past years. Details of the agreement were not made public.

The acquisition of TrekServ includes proprietary, patent-pending technologies that provide secure, global tracking of mobile assets and at-risk personnel. TrekServ has been recognised as a leader in the public safety, law enforcement and commercial sectors. The combined companies will provide clients with increased operational efficiencies, cost-savings and increased revenue-generation potential.
