Soil map of Argentina developed

Argentina: The Group of Natural Resources of the EEA INTA Corrientes, in Argentina, has presented a map of soil suitability which aims to achieve better utilisation and sustainable use of land in the cities of Goya, Corner and Lavalle.

The project identifies and classifies the soils of these three cities, their suitability for agriculture and farming, and defines the areas of erosion risk and excess water. It also allows updating software to have a reference for decision making public and private land use.
