The Switzerland-based aviation and aerospace company sensefly has announced it has successfully tested the Reach RS2 base station. With this, the space station has become fully compatible with eBee RTK, eBee Plus, and eBee X drone.

Customers of Emlid and senseFly customers will be able to take full advantage of both technologies for all their high-accuracy mapping requirements.

Reach RS2 is a static base station for both RTK and PPK scenarios. The receiver connects the senseFly eMotion flight planning software and helps in streaming corrections whenever a drone is operating in RTK mode.

For PPK, the Reach RS2 records RINEX logs that can be used later for post-processed with eMotion’s flight data manager.

senseFly is known for leading drone solutions. The company’s drones are used in several industries which include surveying, mining, humanitarian, precision agriculture, conservation and many more.
