Security Center to World Cup receives visit of Argentine Government

Argentine Government representatives met this week the Integrated Center of Command and National Control, located in Brasilia. The visit is part of actions to prepare for the World Cup 2014.

Coordinated by the Special Secretariat of Security for Major Events of the Brazilian Ministry of Justice (SESGE / MJ) the Centre is responsible for the strategic management the actions in public security and civil defence, supervising and supporting the actions of the host cities, keeping the information updated and available for managers.

The 12 Centers of Command and Regional Control, two National Centers and one Center of International Cooperation are part of the integrated control system, and will enable decision making in real time, thus increasing security during the events. This integration is one of security legacies for the population – said Andrei Augusto Passos Rodrigues, Special Secretary for Security for Major Events of the Ministry of Justice.
