Scotland urges voluntary land listing

Scotland: Scotland aims to register and map all privately owned land by 2024. All publicly owned titles need to be mapped by 2019. So, Registers of Scotland are urging landowners to register voluntarily for the new mapping process. This would also ensure clarity of title on the map-based system, and provide greater security about what is owned. Currently, around 58 percent of all Scottish properties are on the land register.
