ScanEx Center announces schedule for remote sensing interpretation courses

Russia, 27 December 2006 – ScanEx has been conducting series of courses on the application of modern technology for preliminary and thematic processing of satellite data since the beginning of 2006. The courses timetable for 2007 is placed in the «Training» section of the ScanEx web-site. The series of courses covers three basic software products of ScanEx:

– REMOTE SESNING DATA PROCESSING BASICS – SCANMAGIC
Start of the nearest course session: February 6, 2007

– IN-DEPTH REMOTE SENSING DATA PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY – SCANEX IMAGE PROCESSOR
Start of the nearest course session: February 12, 2007

– THEMATIC INTERPRETATION SKILLS – SCANEX NERIS
Start of the nearest course session: February 19, 2007

The courses will be arranged on a quarterly basis. Off-schedule training is possible. The specifics of ScanEx’s training courses are in getting other basic knowledge of the Earth remote sensing techniques in addition to image thematic interpretation skills. Special attention during the training is paid to the current fund of space images and to their comparison properties.
