Russian firm to sign satellite launch deal with Indonesia

A Russian satellite firm expects to receive the affirmation to use Indonesia’s Biak Island as its launch pad next month. It has been reported that Russia and Indonesia have already finalized a government-to-government agreement on cooperation in exploration of outer space for business purposes. It is expected that the pact will be signed next month, paving the way for the use of Biak, in Papua province, as a satellite launch base.
