Russia: Gajimet Safaraliyev, head of the Russian parliamentary committee for nationalities, wants to compose a map of interethnic relations and expects legislative adjustments for the cause, according to a report published in RIA Novosti. The official said that there was an intense labour migration, especially in the US, EU and Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to form the Council for Interethnic Relations in June, becoming its chairman. The council was to improve state policy in interethnic relations and help federal, regional and local structures cooperate.
The council will present a strategy of state national policy before December 1.
