Russia receives data from SPOT 6 satellite

Russia: First SPOT 6 satellite data has been successfully received and processed in Russia. Data was received using “UniScan” ground station in Moscow Remote Sensing Centre of ScanEx RDC.

No, UniScan ground receiving stations can be supplied to the customers with the option of SPOT 6 data reception as well. In addition, existing UniScan stations can be upgraded to receive and process SPOT 6 satellite images.

ScanEx RDC has exclusive right to receive and process SPOT 6 data on the territory of Russia and Belarus and data from similar SPOT 7 satellite, which is to be launched in early 2014. ScanEx RDC offers services for SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 data supply from internal archive of the Centre and accepts order for planning near-real time imagery and delivery of data from global archive of the RS Operator.
