Mumbai, India: Rolta won award for ‘Excellence in Science, Technology and Technological Innovation’ for the year 2009-10 from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). This award recognises Rolta’s innovative software products and solutions to solve real-world problems of business enterprises and government agencies, and especially their relevance to India’s inclusive-growth aspirations.
FICCI sought nominations for this award based on stringent qualifying criteria that were focused on development and deployment of technology in a manner that makes a real contribution to the bottom lines of business enterprises and for e-governance initiatives. Rolta was selected from among numerous contenders by a jury headed by Justice PN Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India.
