Mumbai, India, 5 September 2006 – Rolta is the 21st company in the world certified by BSI with “ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 IT Service Management standard”. BSI, the largest and most respected management systems registrar in the world is supported by BSI Group offices, conducted the assessment for the certification.
Rolta had been certified for BS 15000 for its IT Service Management operations. This new certification is an upgrade of BS 15000 standard, and describes an integrated set of management processes for effective delivery of services. ISO 20000 is aligned with and complementary to the process approach defined within the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) from The Office of Government Commerce (OGC), UK.
