Navigation systems are a significant time saver that helps to find the way in unfamiliar environments in addition to helping you avoid congested traffic. Majority of the luxury cars come fitted with GPS “navigation” systems and are readily available as options in other mainstream cars. A recent market research report “GPS Market Update – 2004 -05” published by RNCOS, have experts concluding that Japan has emerged as the leader in purchase of GPS systems with a contribution of 44%, followed by US and European Union. A bulk of this purchase is made by automakers eager to make their vehicles an intelligent-transportation system.
