Hyderabad, February 10, 2015: On the first day of the India Geospatial Forum, the India Geospatial Awards was organised to recognise and encourage innovations and excellence brought forward by geospatial technology developers, professionals, end users and policy makers that have fostered the geospatial industry in India.
This years’ Leadership Award in the category of Business Leadership was awarded to Rajesh Alla, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, IIC Technologies.
Rajesh Alla, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, IIC Technologies is a dynamic and visionary leader. Alla is recognised as one of the champions of the geospatial industry and technology in the country, having served in this industry for more than twenty years hence justifiably claiming the right to be among the leading members of this industry in India.
As a technocrat with entrepreneurial skills he has played a decisive role in steering IIC Technologies, a company that he founded in 1994, which is today a leading geospatial products, and solutions company in India and also with a global presence. A substantial increase in profit margins through smart and effective business management strategies, along with a very humane approach towards the entire team, has been his hallmark.
Alla has also been instrumental in setting up the IIC Academy – the educational arm of IIC Technologiespromotes the dissemination of geospatial knowledge to both academia and industry.
