India: Lucknow-based Distant Sensing Purposes Centre (RSAC) has partnered with Hyderabad based Nationwide Distant Sensing Centre (NRSC) for the mapping of 1.5 lakh properties in the Indian city of Ghaziabad. All information related to the geo-tagged properties would be available online.
The process is likely to start from July. According to Kanchan Verma, Vice-Chairperson, Ghaziabad Development Authority, “To start out with, all properties in Indirapuram’s Ahimsa Khand, Raj Nagar and Maduban-Bapudham will probably be built-in into the system. Will probably be prolonged to cowl remaining elements of the town later.”
Verma explained, “The town’s map and structure plan will probably be geo-tagged. On the clicking of the mouse, particulars of a specific property, similar to its measurement, when its plan was sanctioned, and many others will probably be displayed.”
She also adds that it takes a minimal of seven months to compile an information of a specific locality or pocket. “In case we’d like particulars of a property, one has to sieve by means of numerous information and maps to get the required info. That is time-consuming and taxing.”
The system may also give out information on how GDA’s administrative mechanism is being carried out. She also said that so far enforcement particulars are maintained manually.
