The sureshotgps system was launched in Australia recently. Using Australian technology, the sureshotgps system provides golfers with all the benefits of traditional golfing GPS systems, in an easy-to-use, portable format. Similar in size to a mobile phone, the sureshotgps unit allows data for 10 courses to be stored in the hand-held unit at any one time. Golfers can also download course data from an extensive list via the Internet. The flexible technology also allows golfers to “map out” golf courses themselves – providing them with distance measurements to greens, bunkers and water hazards. Developed by Australian company Tee2Green Technologies, the system is soon to be launched to the international market.
