US: Pillar, a premier roadways and operations maintenance advisor, has launched its Geospatial Solutions division. Sarah Hague has been announced as the director of the new team that will utilize GIS data to maintain roadways, provide information and increase efficiency of local government services.
Ms Hague is a certified National Emergency Number Professional (NENA), certified GIS Professional and ESRI certified professional. She has more than 17 years of experience in the field of GIS. Her expertise is in GIS, cartography and remote sensing.
Ms Hague says “I am particularly passionate about the advancement of GIS and its application for public safety, and have spent extensive time mastering how local government jurisdictions need to implement Next Generation 9-1-1 to greatly improve emergency response,”
Pillar was established in 2002 and it provides advisory to clients on roadways operations and maintaining cost efficiency. It has a team of experts in asset management, P3, engineering and design, surveying , GIS, safety, project management and contractor monitoring.
