Switzerland: PEREY Research & Consulting have invited developers to prepare projects for demonstration during its 3D Geospatial Geneva Showcase. The 3D Geospatial Geneva Showcase features the achievements of developers using advanced mobile technology in the city of Geneva to illustrate current state-of-the-art for in-situ capture, analysis and visualization of geospatial and geospatially-referenced data.
The event aggregates data sets from open, public and private sources, and offers everyone the opportunity to build services illustrating the latest innovations using open standards, open source technologies and proprietary solutions.
All the projects would be made available for testing on tablets a public event on June 11, 2014. Documented projects will remain on the Showcase website and tablets indefinitely. Showcase projects submitted via the on-line form, do not have to be published on AppStore or Google PlayStore and do not need to be designed for public release to qualify, however, they must involve running code. Deadline for project submissions is June 2, 2014 in order to have the project libraries loaded on PEREY’s Nvidia Tegra Note 7 tablets and tested prior to the June 11, 2014 event in Geneva.
