Partners turn award winners at Ordnance Survey conference

31 May 2006: QAS, Teleatlas, Garmin and Mapsolute, four companies spearheading innovative uses of geographic information have won the Ordnance Survey partner awards. The ceremony was held during an annual partner conference at Alexandra House near Swindon.

The Platinum Partner Award went to Teleatlas, who supply mapping data and routing information to in-car and web based navigation providers. QAS, a supplier of address management solutions, was named Gold Partner of the Year. The company has a range of tools allowing organisations to locate addresses using grid reference data and manipulate the information for customer services. The Silver Partner Award winner is Garmin International, renowned as a leading provider of in-car and personal satellite navigation systems. Mapsolute, whose innovative route planning website Map24.com boasts animated virtual tours, real time updates and personalised information, won the Developer Partner Award.
