Orbisat inks $2.5-mn mapping service deal in Colombia

Colombia: Orbisat, a Brazilian company, has signed a contract with the Geographic Institute Agustin Codazzi, a recognised Colombian institute responsible for all cartographic of Cundinamarca region, for providing mapping services. This is the first project of the company in Colombia and the contract value is around to $2.5 million. Around 342 maps will be developed under the 10-month contract. Specialising in complex technologies for ground surveillance radars and remote sensing, the Orbisat company has sold 15 SABER M60 and 13 COAAE for the Brazilian Armed Forces.
