OpenGeo and Pacific Geodata in partnership

New York, US

Pacific Geodata announced a reseller agreement with OpenGeo. Through this partnership, Pacific Geodata will be able to offer the OpenGeo Suite Enterprise Edition to its clients.

The OpenGeo Suite Enterprise Edition is used by organisations worldwide to serve maps and data through Web applications, mobile devices, and desktop clients.  Pacific Geodata has a background in mapping and analysis solutions for agricultural producers.

Matt Lamborn of Pacific Geodata said, “Partnering with OpenGeo enables us to provide powerful open source web mapping technologies to our clients.  This partnership also provides a small firm such as ours with the resources and know-how to implement online, internet-based mapping applications.”

Chris Holmes, President of OpenGeo, added, “We are excited to work with Pacific Geodata. Their experience creating open source geospatial tools for the agriculture sector will help us illuminate the needs of an important group of end-users.”
