Virginia, US: Northrop Grumman Corporation has been named one of four recipients to receive contracts in all areas of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) total application services for enterprise requirements (TASER) programme, providing timely and innovation solutions to critical geospatial intelligence requirements.
The TASER programme has an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract structure with a ceiling of USD 1 billion over five years.
John Olesak, Vice President of integrated intelligence for Northrop Grumman Information Systems, said, “With the recent award of TASER, NGA is embarking on a new approach to contracting and will have unprecedented access to a depth and breadth of innovative solutions not seen in years. These new capabilities will dramatically improve the speed and agility with which NGA can access services and expertise from their industry partners supporting the geospatial intelligence needs of the war fighter.”
The TASER programme consists of four functional categories: studies, pilots and prototypes, integration and deployment and application sustainment which support customers across NGA.
Work on the contract will be performed primarily in the Washington, D.C. region as well as various locations throughout the world.
