US: Platts, a global energy, petrochemicals and metals information provider, has released a new version of its ‘North American Natural Gas Liquids Map’. The map provides an up-to-date view of the North American natural gas liquids (NGL) industry.
The map provides details ranging from the source region to the pipeline, to the processing plant to the delivery terminal. Platts cartographers have used specialised data from Platts analytics unit Bentek Energy”s NGL Facilities Databank to come up with the new map. They have included industry-critical information about the existing and planned NGL and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pipelines, fractionators and steam crackers. The map also talks about the status, ownership and capacity of fractionators and steam crackers. It pinpoints the propane dehydrogenation facilities and oil refineries. Pipelines are labeled with the operator and system name. The map is available in both print and digital formats, or as a combination of the two.
