Nizamabad aerial survey to be completed soon

The Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to complete the aerial survey of Nizamabad district in south India within six weeks to compile the land particulars as part of the proposed Integrated Land Information System (ILIS) on a pilot basis. Nizamabad district has been taken as a pilot project at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore. The state government issued orders sanctioning a project management team and released a budget of Rs 2 crore in September 2005. The survey would be conducted using Aerial photogrammetry and Electronic Total Stations.
